Health Department Investigating Mumps in New York City

(NEW YORK) — Officials in New York City are investigating several cases of mumps in the city’s borough of Queens.

According to ABC News affiliate WABC-TV, the Health Department is investigating a small group of mumps cases in Far Rockaway, Queens.

The New York City health department is asking anyone who has been sick to stay home.

In 2014, according to WABC-TV, there were 120 cases of the months in all five of New York City’s boroughs.
