Lowery sentenced to prison
25 year old Joseph Lowery was sentenced to prison Wednesday for a conviction of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
A sentence of three to five years in prison was handed down by District Judge Leo Dobrovolny during a sentencing hearing Wednesday.
Lowery had previously served a year in jail after being convicted as an accessory regarding the 2010 murder of James Mendoza of Scottsbluff.
Lowery was tied to a January 10th raid at a Mitchell residence where Mitchell Police, along with Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's deputies and the WING drug task force seized 17 ounces of methamphetamine packaged for delivery.
