Iowa man offered Kimball Superintendent position

The Kimball School District says they have offered a Superintendent contract to an Iowa man.

Marshall Lewis is currently Superintendent of Schools for the Belmond-Klemme School District in Belmond, Iowa. He has worked in the Belmond-Klemme School District as Superintendent since 2010. He has also served as high school principal and associate principal for a total 14 years in three other Iowa school districts.

There were 8 applicants for the position. The board interviewed 3 finalists for the position during the week of March 25th. Lewis will assume the duties of superintendent beginning July 1, 2013 and succeed Troy Unzicker, who will be the new Alliance Superintendent next fall
