Report: Conrad doing alright after release from hospital

The Omaha World Herald News Service says the 19 year old son of a Berea woman who tried to help his mother walk from a disabled car back to their house during a snowstorm last month has been released from the hospital and is back home. The report says Brandon Conrad Jr. indicated he is not 100 percent as he recovers from hypothermia and frostbite, but he is doing alright and glad to be home.

37 year old Lisa Conrad was driving home from work April 9th when her car became disabled in a snow drift.

Her son walked to the car to get her, and they both attempted to walk back to the house, but became disoriented.

Brandon Conrad says he carried his mother for a while. She died but he was found in an abandoned farmhouse Tuesday evening
