Former Tiger honored for Eagles

CHADRON – Chadron State College's Bryant Miller is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Nebraska Division II Defensive Player of the Week.


Joining him as a Nebraska D-II Player of the Week is Glen Clinton.


Miller, a senior from Bayard, had 12 tackles, including two for a loss, an interception and a sack in the Eagles' 31-24 win over New Mexico Highlands Saturday in Chadron. Miller's first quarter interception led to a CSC field goal.


Miller has tallied 53 total tackles this season and is tied for the team lead in tackles for loss (5).


Clinton, a senior from Cody, Wyo., rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns in Chadron State's victory. He also added three receptions for 26 yards. For the season, he's gained 1,121 yards rushing and has scored 13 TDs.
