Two California residents indicted on federal drug charges

Two Stockton, California residents arrested April 2nd after a lengthy investigation into methamphetamine delivery in Scotts Bluff County have now been indicted on federal charges.

U.S. Attorney General Deb Gilg says 33 year old year old Daniel Bravo and 27 year old Leticia Desman each face one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and a second count of possessing or distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. The two still have pending local cases on charges of distribution of methamphetamine.

The Wing Drug Task Force investigation indicated the two had been involved in distribution of methamphetamine in the area since 2010.

Court documents indicate the two were arrested after Bravo arranged a meeting with a confidential informant at a local restaurant, where Desman was also present. A controlled purchase was arranged and the two were arrested later at a local motel.
