21st Century Equipment closes on former ALS office building
As renovations continue on the former Aurora Loan Services building facing 5th Avenue off South Beltline East in Scottsbluff, 21st Century Equipment officially closed on the property today (Thursday). The company plans to use the building for it's corporate and administrative offices. President and CEO Owen Palm says they are hoping to be in the building by late June or early July.
Palm says they have demolished the interior of the building and removed the classrooms. They have hired Anderson-Shaw Construction to reconstruct the offices, which will begin as soon as the floor plan is completed by the architects. Palm says they will only be using about 2/3 of the main floor for their operation, with the additional space to remain vacant initially.
The $100,000 purchase price for the property was approved by the City Council in January.
