Police ask for help in identifying burglary suspect
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a March 23rd burglary at Henkel's Machine Shop located at 604 South Beltline Highway East in Scottsbluff. The suspect is pictured below and is wearing a New York Yankees hat underneath the hood of a black and white plaid jacket.
Scottsbluff Police Captain Brian Wasson says a number of power tools and equipment were reportedly taken in the theft along with a rifle, and a small cannon (pictured with the story). Wasson says a vehicle, believed used in removing the items, was also stolen but was recovered by Police within blocks of the crime scene.
Wasson's press release also says several credit/debit cards were also removed from the business during the theft and the picture involves the suspect apparently using the cards at a local ATM machine. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the transactions.
