Auer headed to NJC to play volleyball
A severe car accident between her sophomore and junior seasons limited Scottsbluff senior Brayden Auer's opportunities on the volleyball and basketball courts her final two years of high school
Now she is doing better, and her talents couldn't be hidden. Tuesday she signed a volleyball scholarship with Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado.
"I am grateful for this opportunity," Auer said. "I didn't know whether I would get the chance. College volleyball is something I have always wanted to do. Hopefully I can use this opportunity to move on to a four-year school."
Auer is excited about going to Sterling. "I made a visit," she said. "I liked the school and the coaches. They have a good volleyball program. I think it's a good fit for me."
Also this morning Matt D. Klein inked with the Chadron State Eagles to run track.
