Fischer emphasizes differences with Kerrey during Bluffs visit
Republican Senate candidate Deb Fischer emphasized the differences between herself and her Democratic opponent Bob Kerrey during a stop at West Nebraska Regional Airport Friday. Fischer, surrounded by Republican Congressmen Adrian Smith and Jeff Fortenberry, Senator Mike Johanns, and Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy, said voters have a clear choice on Tuesday.
Fischer said she supports a balanced budget amendment and Kerrey does not, she is pro-life and Kerrey supports partial birth abortion, and she would repeal Obamacare whie Kerrey supports it with modifications
Fischer also noted she has signed a pledge not to raise taxes while Kerrey has not ruled it out as part of a solution to address the nation's sixteen trillion dollar deficit.
Johanns told Fischer supporters he needs her so they can form a team that would be on the same page in helping solve the nation's massive debt.
