Woman dies in accident south of Alliance

A 19 year old Alliance woman has been killed in a one vehicle accident south of Alliance early Thursday morning. The Nebraska State Patrol says Shelby Henson, who graduated from Alliance High School in
2011 was killed in athe accident that occurred around 3:30 a.m, five miles south of of Alliance on U.S. Highway 385.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Henson was traveling northbound when her 2001 Grand Am left the roadway on the west side of the highway. The car rolled and Henson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and the vehicle came to rest on top of her.

The Patrol reports that the 19-year-old Henson was with her 2 month old son, who was wearing restraints in the back seat and survived the crash.
