Barrasso wins re-election

CHEYENNE - Republican U.S. Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming has won
re-election.

Barrasso defeated Democratic challenger Tim Chesnut, an Albany County commissioner.

It's the first time Wyoming voters have elected Barrasso to a full six-year term in the Senate.

Barrasso was appointed in 2007 after Sen. Craig Thomas died in office. He was elected in 2008 to finish Thomas' term.
