Exonerated death row inmate to speak in Alliance and Chadron
Former Oklahoma Death Row inmate Curtis McCarty, who was exonerated in 2007, will speak in Alliance and Chadron later today (Monday).
McCarty will recount his two decades on Oklahoma's Death Row for a, the murder of an Oklahoma City woman he didn't commit.
In an interview with KCOW Radio in Alliance, McCarty stated he supports Nebraskans attempts to repeal the death penalty.
McCarty will speak at the Alliance Learning Center today at 12 Noon. You are invited to bring a sack lunch. He also will speak at the Chadron State College, Student Center, Bordeaux/Lakota Room at 7 p.m, on Monday, November 18.
