Changes in Cougar schedules
Western Nebraska Community College has announced some game changes for this weekend.
The WNCC baseball team's games at Barton Community College Friday through Sunday have been cancelled because of the wintery weather that hit Kansas on Thursday. The games with Barton will not be made up.
Also, the men's basketball game with North Platte Community College that was scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. has been moved to Friday, Feb. 22. The reason for the change was a conflict in the schedule. The game will begin at 4 p.m. because of the Class B-6 district championship game that is slated to start that evening at 7 p.m.
The men's game with North Platte will be the last game of the regular season for the Cougars. The contest will also be sophomore recognition for the five sophomores, Charles Ward, Tahir Little, Sebastian Suarez, Cody Johnson, and Chad Calcaterra.
