Study: Nebraska 3rd best managed state in the country
Nebraska is the third best managed state in the nation, according to a Wall Street Journal publication.
24/7 Wall Street conducts an annual survey of all fifty states in America and based on a review of data on financial health, standard of living and government services, determines how well each state is managed.
Governor Dave Heineman says the #3 ranking for Nebraska shows the state's economy is moving forward and government is being more efficient through the use of technology.
For the first time, North Dakota is the best run. Wyoming is number two, Iowa #5, South Dakota is #7, Kansas is #15 and Colorado is #29. California is the worst run state in the nation according to the survey.
