One injury in Scottsbluff collision

One person was injured in a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 20th Street and 11th Avenue in Scottsbluff Friday morning.

According to Sgt. Philip Eckerberg, a 2000 Saturn driven by 70 year old Margaret Robinson of Gering was traveling westbound on 20th Street at around 9:43 Friday morning when she attempted to turn south onto 11th Avenue.

Eckerberg says Robinson turned in front of a Dodge pickup driven by 95 year old Raymond Townsend of Scottsbluff. Townsend was traveling eastbound on 20th Street and collided with the Robinson vehicle.

An unidentified passenger in the Robinson vehicle was injured and transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. The extent of the injuries were unknown at this time.
