Gering woman faces multiple drug charges
A Gering woman is facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop by the Nebraska State Patrol Saturday.
25 year old Dezera Husted was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding two miles east of Lisco on Highway 92. The trooper recognized the driver and Husted as possible controlled substance suspects from previous intelligence and after smelling marijuana in the vehicle ordered a K-9 to search the car.
White, powdery substances were found in Husted's purse and during a body search at the Scotts Bluff County Jail. Also seized was a number of Diezepam pills which is a schedule four drug.
Husted is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine from a previous incident in November and possession of meth with intent to deliver and possession of Diezepam from Saturday's stop.
