Improved condition for Bluffs woman injured in Wednesday rollover
A 32 year old Scottsbluff woman hospitalized after rolling her vehicle six times Wednesday night south of Mitchell has made a big improvement in her condition. Jacqueline Soto is reported in fair condition Friday morning at Regional West Medical Center. She was in critical condition Thursday following the accident.
Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman says emergency personnel had to extricate Soto from her vehicle after Deputies found a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban upside down at the intersection of South Mitchell Road and Highway 92 shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Overman says a witness indicated Soto's vehicle was eastbound on the highway when it ran off the road to the right, came back on the highway, crossed the center line and rolled six times, ending upside down on the highway.
Soto is facing drunk driving charges after the accident investigation showed evidence of drinking.
