CSC men drop to 3-22

PUEBLO, Colo. – Wendell Lee scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds and Matt Rosenbaum scored 15 more and added seven rebounds and three assists to help lead Colorado State University-Pueblo to a 73-60 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over Chadron State Saturday at Massari Arena.

With the win, Pueblo improves to 13-13 overall and 12-8 in the RMAC.

Chadron State, which will close its regular season with a game at Black Hills State at Saturday, falls to 3-22 and 3-18 in the conference.

The ThunderWolves shot well from the field but Lee did much of the damage as hit nine of his team's 24 made field goals, including five of seven from long range.

Pueblo, which hit 49 percent of its shots, also took advantage of its opportunities at the charity stripe, sinking 15 of 18, while Chadron State made nine of 14.

The Eagles, who trailed by as many as 16 points in the game, trimmed it to 11 at halftime but the ThunderWolves never let them get closer than eight in the second half.

Zac Bargen and Grant Stone each scored 11 to pace Chadron State, and Brandon Pippenger added 10 more.
