Kimball school district announces superintendent finalists
The Kimball School Board has selected three candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy.
The candidates Dr. John Weidner of Parshall, North Dakota, Ms. Kelly Glass of Torrington, Wyoming and Marshall Lewis of Belmond, Iowa. The Board's selection was made after consultant McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. screened and conducted extensive background checks on 8 applicants.
Interviews are scheduled to be conducted the week of April 2nd. A number of stakeholder groups will have the opportunity to meet the final candidates and submit input to the board about each of them. The board intends to make their selection by April 8th.
After the superintendent has been hired, Gering Superintendent Don Hague will facilitate a Board/Superintendent workshop to assist in the establishment of performance objectives for the new superintendent.
