Sidney woman enters plea in stabbing
A Sidney woman accused of stabbing a man with scissors has entered a guilty plea to an amended charge of second degree assault.
30-year old Alicia Green had also been charged with use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, but that count was dismissed in exchange for the plea on the assault charge.
The Cheyenne County Attorney's office says Green is accused of stabbing Ronald Conger because she thought he stole 20 dollars off a table in the apartment. The two argued and Green said Conger produced scissors and stabbed himself in the arm. Conger said Green stabbed him.
Green, who will be sentenced April third, is being held in the Cheyenne County jail on 10% of $50,000 bond.
Conger was charged with obstructing an officer and is being held on 10% of $10,000 bond.
