Gering man arrested for terroristic threats
A 20 year old Gering man was arrested Monday afternoon on a charge of felony terroristic threats after pointing a pistol at another person.
Gering Police say Cody Smallfoot was a third party in a verbal dispute involving a juvenile friend and while leaving the scene in his car pointed the semi-automatic pistol at the victim.
Police searched for Smallfoot's white 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse and found it at at his father's home in the 600 block of D Street. Smallfoot eventually came out of the home and was arrested. The firearm was found inside the house, which was the last known address for Smallfoot.
The initial incident was reported around 1:20 p.m. Monday afternoon and the arrest was made a little more than an hour later.
