Grad assistant headed to Kentucky
Nebraska head football coach Bo Pelini is losing one of his grad assistant coaches. Vince Morrow, who worked with Husker tight ends this past season, is headed to the University of Kentucky.
"Vince Marrow is an outstanding football coach and has been a valuable member of our program the past two years. Vince and I have known each other for a long time and I am happy to see him get this opportunity to join Mark Stoops' coaching staff at Kentucky. Vince will do a great job and we wish him the best."
Marrow was in his second year as a Husker grad assistant. The Youngstown, Ohio native helped to recruit in his first season with the team, gaining an NCAA waiver, when assistant coach Barney Cotton was recovering from a surgery. Marrow, who played with five NFL teams from 1992-99, has a son Mike who plays fullback for the Huskers.
