Scottsbluff man charged in July attack
A Scottsbluff man who suffered serious lacerations to his face after allegedly being hit by a beer bottle during a fight at Scottsbluff park last month has been charged with first degree assault after he crashed a party in July.
Court documents say 20 year old Pablo Longoria is accused of attacking another man after arguments and violence broke out when several people including Longoria tried to join the party. The documents say Regional West Medical Center court records indicate the victim, Juan Torrez, suffered a fractured skull and a concussion in the fight. The documents say witnesses indicated Longoria hit the victim in the back of the head and he fell, striking his head on the concrete. Longoria is also accused of punching Torrez in the face several times.
The documents say three people have identified Longoria as the attacker. 31 year old Domingo Gomez III has been charged with intentional second degree assault in the attack on Longoria August 25th, which occurred as a large crowd assembled at Southeast Park.
