Cheyenne man dies in rollover south of Glendo
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a Cheyenne man died Monday evening in a rollover accident eleven miles south of Glendo on Interstate 25. The Patrol says 18 year old Theodore Weekly was a passenger in the northbound vehicle that went off the highway due to icy conditions around 5:30 p.m.
The patrol says the vehicle, driven by Dylan Freeman, also of Cheyenne, went down a steep embankment and rolled multiple times before landing on its top after going through a right of way fence. Weekly was partially ejected through the front passenger door window and was trapped under the vehicle.
Troopers investigating the crash say speed too fast for the existing conditions was the contributing factor in the accident. Freeman and another occupant were treated and released from the Wheatland hospital. All three people were wearing seat belts.
