SHS is introducing Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Programs in both Biomedical Sciences and Engineering. Student will be exposed to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through relevance and career application. PLTW has a long history of successfully engaging students and is recognized around the world for their superior curriculum and programming. We believe the program has potential to dramatically increase the skill level, college preparation, and employ-ability of SHS graduates.

A key component of the PLTW program is working with the local community to increase relationships and collaboration both in and out of the classroom. In order to accomplish this collaboration, we need your help. On Tuesday, June 10th, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm a regional PLTW representative will be at SHS presenting the PLTW program. The presentation will focus on integrating learning and curriculum with community and post-secondary involvement. Lunch will be provided.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Justin Shaddick, Assistant Principal - Scottsbluff High School(308) 635-6219
