6th Annual Pageant to Feature Teen and Little Miss Contestants

25 young ladies from across the state will compete in the 2013 Miss Chadron Outstanding Teen and Little Miss Chadron Pageant to be held on Sunday, November 18 at 3PM at Chadron High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door and are $5 each, 8 and under are free.

The 9 contestants vying for the Outstanding Teen titles are: Alexis McGlone, daughter of Paula Brening and Scott McGone of Mitchell; Brittany Eckerberg, daughter of Philip and Margaret Eckerberg of Gering; Mariclaire Prill, daughter of Scott and Kristin Prill of Holdrege; Alex O'Connor, daughter of Sam and Liz O'Connor of Keystone; Bryttnee Lemmon, daughter of John and Misty Lemmon of Crawford; Mikaela Hastings, daughter of Todd and Marleta Hastings of Chadron; Holly Walker, daughter of Jim and Jodi Walker of Gering; Chloe McGlynn, daughter of Lee Webb and Richard McGlynn of Mitchell and Jessica Helt, daughter of Scott and Karen Helt of Gering.

The 16 contestants competing for the Little Miss titles include: Gracie Jones, daughter of Dave and Amy Jones of Chadron; Megan Wendland, daughter of Jeff and Becky Wendland of Crawford; Paige McCannon, daughter of Melody and Shawn McCannon of Keystone; Hannah Lemmon, daughter of John and Misty Lemmon of Crawford; Jadyn Wetherington, daughter of Joleen and Jarrod Wetherington of Mitchell; Alyssa Snyder, daughter of Kristy Snyder and the late John Snyder of Chadron; Carly Lemmon, daughter of John and Misty Lemmon of Crawford; Sarah Smith, daughter of Curt and Traci Smith of Chadron; Brinnley Hudson, daughter of Angie and Tony Hudson of Chadron; Hollie Morsett, daughter of Chad and Jerri Lee Morsett of Chadron; Aliyah Mills, daughter of Charlotte and Isaac Mills of Chadron; Shaylee Messersmith, daughter of Clay and Micki Messersmith of Alliance; Chloe Blumanthal, daughter of Mark and Krista Blumanthal of Alliance; Tatum Bailey, daughter of Kerry and Crystal Bailey of Chadron; Kennedy Trueblood, daughter of Mike and Amy Trueblood of Chadron and Aspen Graves, daughter of Mark and Shelley Graves of Chadron.

The winners of the Little Miss pageant will receive a crown, sash, trophy and bouquet and will represent Chadron and Northwest Nebraska for a year.

Along with several other prizes, the winners of the Outstanding Teen titles will receive paid entry to the Miss Nebraska Outstanding Teen pageant held in North Platte in June. The winner of the Miss Nebraska Outstanding Teen title will advance to the Miss America Outstanding Teen pageant.

A silent auction, audience choice award voting and other fundraising will take place before the pageant and during intermission. Doors open to the public at 2:30 p.m.

Co-emcees for the pageant will be Mariah Cook, Miss Nebraska 2012 and Lianna Prill, Nebraska Outstanding Teen 2012. Sara Richter, Chadron Outstanding Teen 2012, Emerie Gifford, Northwest Outstanding Teen 2012 and Allie Boggs, Dawes County Outstanding Teen 2012 will be the pageant's honored guests and will provide special entertainment throughout the evening.
