New concrete facility in Alliance

The owner of a concrete, sand, and gravel plant in Alliance will build a new facility on the southwest side of town following the approval of a re-zoning request Thursday morning.

Croell Redi Mix Regional Manager Brian Marchant of Sundance, Wyoming told the Alliance City Council Thursday morning that his company plans to break ground by September 1.

The plant will be built on the northeast side of Cody Avenue and Kansas Avenue, just west of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe diesel shop. Earlier this year, Croell purchased both Bauer Pre-Mix and Weston Mobile Mix.
