Castellaw heading to CSC for track

Two more athletes have signed letters of intent to join the Chadron State College track and field team next year, coach Ryan Baily said.

They are Isaiah Castellaw of Scottsbluff and Angelique Urenda of Pueblo, Colo.

Castellaw is a 6-foot-7, 190-pounder who won the Class B 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the Nebraska State Track and Field Meet last spring in 39.06 seconds. His time also was second on the all-class list.

Castellaw also played on Scottsbluff's Class B state championship basketball team as a senior in 2012-13 and was a member of the Western Nebraska Community College basketball team this winter. He will reportedly concentrate on running the hurdles and does not plan to play basketball at CSC.

Urenda is a senior at South High School in Pueblo, where she ranks in the upper 15 percent of her class of 319 students. She primarily has entered the high jump and the pole vault and has bests of 5-4 and 10-0.

Earlier this spring, 12 track and field athletes signed with the Eagles.
