Repaving project underway on Scottsbluff/Gering Highway
A mill and overlay project is currently underway along a portion of the Scottsbluff Gering Highway. The repaving project extends along 10th Street from Stable Club Road to the river bridge on both sides, and will include full curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement.
Gering Street Superintendent Casey Dahlgrin says the project is scheduled to take 55 days with Simon Construction as the main contractor and Infinity Construction as a sub-contractor for the curb, gutter and sidewalk work.
Dahlgrin reminds motorists the speed limit has been reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph along the project route. At least one lane of traffic will remain open each way during construction.
