The 11th win of the season for the Gering girls soccer team probably came a little easier than expected Thursday in Sterling, CO. The Bulldogs topped the Tigers 7-0.

Sterling entered the game with an 8-2-1 record and a defense that had surrendered just two goals.

Senior Shayla Garetto led the way for the Bulldogs with two goals. In all six different players scored for Lisa Freeburg's squad.

Up next is the district tournament in Holdrege. The Bulldogs are the top seed as they try to repeat as district champs. They will play the winner of a Monday match between Scottsbluff and Grand Island on Tuesday.
