Slight tuition increase approved by WNCC Board

Both resident and non-resident students at Western Nebraska Community College will be paying $3 more per credit hour next year.

Vice President of Administrative Services Bill Knapper tells KNEB News the total cost is under $100 per credit hour....probably the last time that will be the case.

Knapper says the college remains competetive in price with regional campuses. He says if you look at colleges around Colorado and Wyoming, they are all on the same calendar considering tuitions and fees this month at their regular board meetings. community colleges in the region.

Knapper says a hike of $1.50 for high school students taking classes at the college was also approved. Fees per credit hour will stay the same.
