CSC media coordinator takes position with Game and Parks

A longtime Chadron State College media and public relations coordinator is leaving to join Nebraska Game and Parks as public information officer for the Panhandle. He'll operate out of a new agency office in Chadron starting next Monday.

A native of southwest Nebraska, Justin Haag has been in Chadron for all but 2 of the past 21 years. He came to Chadron State in 1992 and earned his degree in journalism in 1996, then spent 2 years at the Chadron Record.

Haag says it was a difficult decision to leave the college, but that his new job with Game and Parks fits perfectly with several of his loves including wildlife photography and outdoor recreation.

Game and Parks Information and Education Division administrator Christy Rasmussen says Haag will be a great addition to the agency's communications team as he brings solid writing, photography and media experience.
