Pinnacle Bank of Mitchell makes pledge to museum

Pinnacle Bank of Mitchell has pledged $25,000 over the next five years to the Legacy of the Plains Museum project.

Pinnacle Bank Branch President Jeff Pieper said the bank is supporting the project to develop Legacy of the Plains because the new museum will be an asset to the area.

Pieper says "Legacy of the Plains will be a landmark that tells the story of why we are here and how people have lived in our region."

Legacy of the Plains co-chair Nancy Haney said the Mitchell bank's pledge is significant because "it's a community bank recognizing the
importance of this project to their community, recognizing that what we are doing will benefit the entire region."
