Public pathway meeting scheduled June 25th

The City of Scottsbluff is hosting a public open house meeting to showcase preliminary design plans for a new 5.8 mile pedestrian/bicycle trail and associated pedestrian bridge crossing of US Highway 26. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library Meeting Roomfrom 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Representatives from the City will be available to answer questions and receive comments about the proposed project. Project information will also be available at an online, self-directed meeting. The online meeting can be accessed by visiting ww.ScottsbluffValleyPathway.hdrpi.com. Public comments will be accepted until July 11, 2013.

The purpose of the Scottsbluff Valley Pathway North Project is to provide a safe, alternative transportation option for the residents of Scottsbluff that connects and expands existing pedestrian/bicycle facilities, while increasing access to neighborhoods, parks and businesses.
