OTD concert number revised upward
Oregon Trail Days General Chairman Bill Schlapfer says a revised count indicates more people attended the celebration's kickoff concert last Saturday with the Josh Abbott Band than was previously projected.
The initial estimate was a little over 800 but Schlapfer says after counting the tickets purchased the paid attendance was closer to 1,000. Schlapfer says they are happy with that number.
The Oregon Trail Days celebration continues tonight with the Longhorn cattle on display in front of the Union Bar, and Thursday night's downtown barbecue and street dance in front of the courthouse. A barbecue beef sandwich and chips from The Meat Shoppe is just $3 and music will be provided by "The Driving Dynamics"
