Twelfth annual Sharing Tree to benefit Veterans Home residents

Residents of the Western Nebraska Veterans Home will once again benefit from the generosity of the community as Fred A. Lockwood & Co., P.C., FALCO Financial Services, Inc and the Monument Mall team up for the annual Sharing Tree.

This is the twelfth year of the event, according to FALCO organizers Cheri Hutchison and Robin Thomson, who announced the official location of the tree is near Herbergers at the Monument Mall. The tree was set up November 21st. Those interested in making the holiday brighter for a resident of the Veterans Home are asked to stop by the mall and take an ornament off the tree and either purchase a gift or bring their donation to the FALCO Company offices at 1110 Circle Drive by December 14th and the FALCO staff will do the shopping.

Last year 75 residents of the Vets Home received gifts totaling approximately $6000 from the generous donations of the community. With the cash donations received, all residents that requested a gift received one and a check for $2568 was given to the Western Nebraska Veterans Home to use in a way that would benefit all the veterans living there.

Help make this a warm holiday season for our veterans. For more information on making a donation, contact Cheri Hutchison or Robin Thomson at FALCO Enterprises. 308-632-6570.
