Scottsbluff man arrested for threatening to run over wife
A Scottsbluff man accused of domestic assault and pinning his wife up against a fence with his pickup will make his first appearance in Scotts Bluff County Court today.
Court documents say the wife of 38 year old Leon Perez told police her husband got upset August 4th at a social gathering because she was wearing a dress and accused her of having sexual relations with other men.
The documents say the issue continued through the night, and Perez refused to let her out of their vehicle for a time when they got home. Later after she changed clothes and went outside, the documents say her husband chased her down in the pickup, pinned her up against a fence and tried to choke her before she ran to a neighbor's house.
Perez is charged with domestic assault, terroristic threats and felony driving under suspension
