Huskers rise in soccer poll

Nebraska soccer jumped up three spots to No. 18 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Women's Division I poll released on Tuesday. This marks the team's fifth-consecutive week in the Top 25 and highest ranking since early September 2005.

The Huskers have also moved up its Senior Day start time this Friday afternoon to 3:30 p.m. against Indiana (13-4-1, 6-4-0 Big Ten) as they look to clinch its first regular-season conference championship since 2000.

NU has won five straight including 12 of its last 13 matches and moved up four spots to No. 8 in the latest NCAA RPI rankings released on Monday afternoon. Nebraska is currently 14-3-1 overall on the year and in first place atop the Big Ten Conference with a 9-1-0 record.
