Slow moving storms producing heavy rain, hail
While there have been no official reports of damage so far, a line of thunderstorms moving across eastern wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle Wednesday afternoon have brought a number of hail reports. 1 1/2" hail was reported 12 miles east-southeast of Hawk Springs in Wyoming. 1" hail reported 16 miles south of Hay Springs, 1/4" hail a mile west of Alliance and baseball sized hail was reported 7 miles southwest of Hemingford.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for all of eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle until 9 p.m. this evening, so the threat for more severe weather in the region continues.
