Possible record number of early Scotts Bluff County voters

Scotts Bluff County Election Commissioner Vera Dulaney says there has been a steady stream of early voters and she believes the number of people voting prior to Tuesday's general election may break the record set in the 2008 general election. Dulaney says it would appear the county should be at or over the 4,000 early voter mark achieved in 2008.

Dulaney says there are no changes in the voter precinct locations from the primary back in May.

Dulaney says voters should know how they are going to vote before they get into the ballot box. Voters can cast their ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Dulaney says mid- morning and mid-afternoon are the times when there is usually a lull in the voting.

Dulaney says they should have a report on the early voting shortly after 7 p.m. She is hoping everything is complete somewhere between 11 p.m. and 12 midnight.
