I-25 stretch from Colorado to Cheyenne re-opened
WELLINGTON, Colo. (AP) _ The Colorado and and Wyoming Department of Transportation have now opened Interstate-25 from Wellington to Cheyenne after that stretch was closed earlier today due to ice and snow.
The National Weather Service said snow is spreading Tuesday over southeast Wyoming and northern Colorado.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for central Wyoming, with up to 5 inches of snow expected.
Up to 3 inches of snow is expected along areas of the Front Range, with even more snow expected in the Colorado mountains, where up to 8 inches of snow is forecast.
