Rural Youth Come Together at 78th NFU All-States Leadership Camp
The National Farmers Union recently wrapped up its 78th All-States Leadership Camp for Rural Youth. This year's camp focused on Farming Means a World of Good - and participants learned to appreciate the cultural and economic value of family farm agriculture in American and across the world. During the camp - six youth were elected by their peers to the 2014-2015 National Youth Advisory Council. The new council members are Nicollette Bitz of North Dakota, RaeLyn Leier of North Dakota, Chris Nemec of South Dakota, Tyson Peppler of Colorado, Dayton Trujillo of South Dakota and Lexie Weber of South Dakota. These youth will represent their peers across the country, work at the annual NFU Convention and help plan next year's camp.
