Kimball Youth Shines At National Junior Angus Show

A Kimball youth is off to a great start at the National Junior Angus Association National Junior Angus Show going on in Kansas City.

On Sunday, 17 year old, Hailey Keller won the Sullivan Supply Stock Show University leg fitting contest, where she won a fan.

Keller is nominated to represent Nebraska in the National Showmanship competition. The preliminary competition takes place Tuesday. The top 15 showman will advance to the Finals held on Thursday.

At the National Junior Angus Show, she will also show her market steer on Tuesday. Keller is one of 25 Nebraska youth participating in the National Junior Angus Show.

Keller is the daughter of Doug and Theresa Keller. This fall she will be a freshman at Chadron State College in the Rural Health Opportunities Program.

More than 750 youth from 30 states will show more than 11 -hundred head of registered Angus cattle will show this week at the National Junior Angus Show.
