"A Century of Ag Education" - NCTA news release
The University of Nebraska's Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) will be celebrating 100 years of agricultural education for Nebraska students on August 9-11, 2013 with an alumni reunion and public events in Curtis, Nebraska. The attached news release announces the Centennial Celebration and includes a sidebar on the school's history, plus timeline of the four title changes during those 100 years. We invite you to use some or all of the information for your news organization or upcoming newsletter. If you would like photographs or other information to assist, just let me know.
Also, please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 30th for "Media Discovery at NCTA" -- a time for professional news media to conduct interviews, speak with faculty and administrators, and record video or photographs while visiting the NCTA campus for tours and in-depth information. Two identical sessions will be hosted that day in conjunction with the West Central Youth Animal Science Field Day.
More details to come for the May 30th agenda next week!
