Pauline R. Zeiler, 98, Scottsbluff
Pauline R. Zeiler, 98, of Scottsbluff, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 16, at Zion Evangelical Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Garry Schick officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. A visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, at Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. Memorials in Pauline's honor may be made to the Zion Evangelical Church.
Pauline was born October 24, 1913, in Alliance, to John and Anna (Keller) Weitzel. She lived in the valley most of her life where she helped on the family farm. Pauline married George Zeiler in Scottsbluff in 1933.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Milton and Mary Ann Zeiler, Michelle and Jef Johnston, and Mike Zeiler and his fiancé Sarah Williams along with their children, Emily and Natalie; daughter in law, Phyllis Zeiler; 2 granddaughters, Micki Warren and Marci Whitley; 4 great grandchildren, Michael (Lindsey) Whitley, Eric (Alicia) Whitley, Kaylee Whitley, and Kirby (Victoria) Russell; 3 great great grandchildren, Madison Whitley, Caroline Whitley, and Kaylin Russell; sisters, Alma Heck of California and Martha Horn of Michigan; and other numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Pauline in death was her husband, George Zeiler; son, Norman Zeiler; and several brothers and sisters.
