Claudio P. Saucedo, 85, Scottsbluff
Claudio P. Saucedo, 85, of Scottsbluff, NE died peacefully at his home, in the early hours of Wednesday, September 12, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Fr. Phil Flott officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. A Vigil service will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel between 1-5:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be given to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Claudio was born October 29, 1927 at Leming, Texas to Federico and Marcelina Celestina (Perez) Saucedo. He married Enedina M. Rosas and made his home in Scottsbluff in 1949. Claudio was a talent in several trades and a butcher for over 40 years, working approximately a decade beyond retirement.
He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Don Claudio (as he was known by many) was the patriarch of five generations of his family. He is loved and will be missed by a great many family members and friends. He is survived by his wife Enedina M. Saucedo, his children, Miguel (Maria) Saucedo, John R. Saucedo, Olivia R. (Arnoldo) Gonzalez, Christopher J. (Nina) Saucedo, Sr., grandchildren,Vicky (Matt) Bernsdorss, Christy Saucedo, Frank Saucedo, Angela (Gale) McGrew, Adrian Saucedo, Amy Saucedo, Jodi (Ryan) Fletcher, Luis Saucedo, Corina (John) Kohut, Monica (Hector) Lopez, Jose A. Gonzalez, Espedita (Koley) Castellaw, Juan (Nicole) Gonzalez, Christopher J. (Maryann) Saucedo, Jr., Nathan Saucedo, and Ileana Saucedo, more than thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters Santos Saucedo and Juanita Cuvarubias, and brother Andres Saucedo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Richard Saucedo and great grandson Christopher Jonathan "CJ" Kohut.
