Bobby Jay Keller, 49, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lingle, Wyo. with Pastor Rick Carroll officiating. Memorials may be made to Project One at North Hills Baptist Church in Lingle.Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send their condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
Bobby Jay Keller was born Jan. 21, 1963, in Scottsbluff, the son of William and Ruthie (Baumgartner) Keller. He grew up and attended school on Torrington. Bobby became a Certified Prosthetic Technician and worked at the University of Texas Health and Science Center and later at Hanger Prosthetics in Denver. He moved to Torrington in 2002.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and ABATE of Torrington. He liked to ride motorcycles, golf, fish and camp. Bobby also enjoyed mowing his lawn and working in his garage.
Survivors include companion Marlene Granger-Keller of Torrington; daughter, Jessica Keller of Torrington; father, William Keller of Torrington; mother, Ruthie Etzel of Torrington; brother, Billie Keller of Vail, Colo.; nephew, Billie Keller, Jr. of Denver; and niece, Hanna Keller of Vail, Colo.
