Kimball, Banner counties to become "Livestock Friendly"

Banner and Kimball Counties will become the newest counties in the state to receive the Livestock Friendly County Designation.

Governor Dave Heineman and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture will honor both counties with designation Tuesday morning at 10 am at the Kimball County Fairgrounds in the 4-H Building.

With the addition of Banner and Kimball Counties, there will be 20 counties across the state that have received the Livestock Friendly Designation, including: Adams, Box Butte, Cumming, Dawes, Deuel, Gage, Garden, Grant, Hitchcock, Jefferson, Keith, Lincoln, Morrill, Saline, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, Wayne, and Webster Counties.
