Kerrey: Republican endorsements show he will work to break the gridlock
Democratic Senate Candidate Bob Kerrey says he is the candidate that can help break the gridlock in Washington. Kerrey, stopping in Scottsbluff to speak at a restaurant full of supporters, said endorsements by two former Republican Senators, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and Alan Simpson of Wyoming, show he can be part of the solution not the problem.
Kerrey believes he has fought back from a double digit deficit to a race that is now a dead heat with his Republican opponent Deb Fischer because of his experience as governor, as a past senator and as someone who has personally sacrificed while serving the country in the military.
